प्रायो मृतो मृतप्रायः शेषोऽभूद्धरणीतले । नष्टा अरण्यजा ग्राम्याः पशवः पक्षिणो मृगाः
prāyo mṛto mṛtaprāyaḥ śeṣo'bhūddharaṇītale | naṣṭā araṇyajā grāmyāḥ paśavaḥ pakṣiṇo mṛgāḥ
လူအများစုသည် သေဆုံးလုနီးပါး သေဆုံးခဲ့ကြ၏။ မြေပြင်ပေါ်၌ ကျန်ရစ်သူတို့သည်လည်း သေသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်နေကြ၏။ တောထဲနှင့် ရွာထဲရှိ သတ္တဝါများ—နွား၊ ငှက်၊ တောတိရစ္ဆာန်တို့—ပျက်စီးသေဆုံးကုန်၏။
