इति चिंतयतश्चित्ते हा दुःखोऽयं प्रतिग्रहः । प्रतिग्रहेण विप्राणां ब्राहयं तेजो हि शाम्यति

Transliteration

iti ciṃtayataścitte hā duḥkho'yaṃ pratigrahaḥ | pratigraheṇa viprāṇāṃ brāhayaṃ tejo hi śāmyati

Translation

ငါ့စိတ်ထဲတွင် «အိုဟို၊ ဒီလက်ခံယူခြင်းက အလွန်ဒုက္ခကြီးပါလား» ဟု စဉ်းစားနေစဉ်—အကြောင်းမှာ အလှူကို လက်ခံယူခြင်းကြောင့် ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့၏ ဗြာဟ္မဏတေဇ (tejas) သည် အမှန်တကယ် လျော့နည်းသွားသည်။
