ब्रह्मणस्त्वं सुता देवी तुलानाम्नेति कथ्यते । तुकारो गौरवे नित्यं लकारो लघुनि स्मृतः
brahmaṇastvaṃ sutā devī tulānāmneti kathyate | tukāro gaurave nityaṃ lakāro laghuni smṛtaḥ
“အို ဒေဝီ၊ သင်သည် ဗြဟ္မာ၏ သမီးတော် ဖြစ်၏; ‘တူလာ’ (တူလား—တန်ချိန်) ဟူသော အမည်ဖြင့် ခေါ်ကြ၏။ ‘tu’ ဟူသော သဒ္ဒါသံသည် အမြဲတမ်း အလေးအနက် (အလေးချိန်) ကို ဆိုလိုပြီး၊ ‘lā’ ဟူသော သံကို ပေါ့ပါးမှုဟု မှတ်သားကြသည်။”
