वृक्षांश्छित्त्वा पशून्हत्वा कृत्वा रुधिरकर्दमम । दग्ध्वा वह्नौ तिलाज्यादि चित्रं स्वर्गोऽभिलप्यते
vṛkṣāṃśchittvā paśūnhatvā kṛtvā rudhirakardamama | dagdhvā vahnau tilājyādi citraṃ svargo'bhilapyate
သစ်ပင်များကို ခုတ်လှဲ၍ တိရစ္ဆာန်များကို သတ်ကာ သွေးကန့်ကွက်အညစ်အကြေးဖြစ်စေပြီး—ထို့နောက် မီးထဲ၌ နှမ်း၊ ဂျီ(ghṛta) စသည်တို့ကို မီးရှို့ကာ—လူတို့သည် ထူးဆန်းစွာ ‘ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ’ ကိုပင် ရည်မှန်းချက်ဟု ပြောကြသည်။
