vyasya vedānmahābuddhirnānā śākhā prabhedataḥ | aṣṭādaśapurāṇāni sūtādīnparipāṭhya ca

ဉာဏ်ကြီးမားသော ဗျာသသည် ဝေဒများကို မျိုးခွဲစည်းကမ်းအလိုက် သာခာအမျိုးမျိုးအဖြစ် ခွဲစီစဉ်ခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ပြင် ပုရာဏ ၁၈ ပုဒ်ကိုလည်း စူတနှင့် အခြားသူတို့အား မှန်ကန်စွာ သင်ကြားရွတ်ဆိုစေ하였다။
