इतोष्टमे च दिवसे त्वज्जनेता प्रजापतिः । मह्यं दास्यति कन्यां त्वां सफलस्ते मनोरथः । इत्युक्त्वा देवदेवेशस्तत्रैवांतर्हितोभवत्
itoṣṭame ca divase tvajjanetā prajāpatiḥ | mahyaṃ dāsyati kanyāṃ tvāṃ saphalaste manorathaḥ | ityuktvā devadeveśastatraivāṃtarhitobhavat
“ယနေ့မှ ရှစ်ရက်မြောက်နေ့တွင် သင်၏အဖ—ပရာဇာပတိ—သည် သင့်ကို ငါ့ထံ မင်္ဂလာအဖြစ် သမီးတော်အဖြစ် ပေးအပ်လိမ့်မည်။ သင်၏ဆန္ဒ ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်။” ဟု ဘုရားတို့၏ဘုရားသခင် မိန့်ကြားပြီး ထိုနေရာတင်ပင် ပျောက်ကွယ်သွားတော်မူ၏။
