स्कंद उवाच । वृद्धादित्यस्य माहात्म्यं शृणु ते कथयाम्यहम् । यस्य श्रवणमात्रेण नरो नो दुष्कृतं भजेत्
skaṃda uvāca | vṛddhādityasya māhātmyaṃ śṛṇu te kathayāmyaham | yasya śravaṇamātreṇa naro no duṣkṛtaṃ bhajet
စကန္ဒက မိန့်တော်မူသည်— ဝృద్ధာဒိတျ၏ မဟာဂုဏ်ကို နားထောင်လော့၊ ငါသည် သင်အား ပြောပြမည်။ ထိုကို နားထောင်ရုံဖြင့်ပင် လူသည် အပြစ်ကမ္မသို့ မကျရောက်။
