gāyatrī vedajananī gāyatrī brāhmaṇaprasūḥ | gātāraṃ trāyate yasmādgāyatrī tena gīyate

Translation

ဂါယတ်ရီသည် ဝေဒတို့၏ မိခင် ဖြစ်၏; ဂါယတ်ရီသည် ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့ကို မွေးဖွားစေသူ ဖြစ်၏။ သီဆိုသူ/ဇပသူ (ဂါတာ) ကို ကာကွယ်တော်မူသောကြောင့် ‘ဂါယတ်ရီ’ ဟု ခေါ်ကြ၏။
