यावद्देहे स्थितः प्राणो जीवितं तावदुच्यते । निर्गते तत्र मरणं ततः प्राणं निरुंधयेत्

ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာအတွင်း ပရာဏ တည်ရှိနေသမျှကို ‘အသက်’ ဟု ခေါ်၏။ ထွက်ခွာသွားလျှင် မရဏ ဖြစ်၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် ပရာဏကို စည်းကမ်းတကျ လေ့ကျင့်၍ ထိန်းချုပ်ရမည်။
