वसु क्व ते गतो भर्ता मातुरस्थीनिमेऽर्पय । वयं कार्पटिका भद्रे भवामो न च दुःखदाः
vasu kva te gato bhartā māturasthīnime'rpaya | vayaṃ kārpaṭikā bhadre bhavāmo na ca duḥkhadāḥ
“ဥစ္စာကို ယူ၍ သင်၏ ခင်ပွန်း ဘယ်သို့ သွားသနည်း? သင်၏ မိခင်၏ အရိုးဤတို့ကို ငါ့ထံ အပ်နှံပါ။ မင်္ဂလာရှိသော မိန်းမရေ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အဝတ်စုတ်ဝတ်ဆင်သော ဆင်းရဲသားများသာ—ဒုက္ခပေးသူ မဟုတ်ကြ”။
