तदांदोलनतः कर्णात्पपात मणिकर्णिका । मणिभिः खचिता रम्या ततोऽस्तु मणिकर्णिका
tadāṃdolanataḥ karṇātpapāta maṇikarṇikā | maṇibhiḥ khacitā ramyā tato'stu maṇikarṇikā
ထိုလှုပ်ယမ်းမှုကြောင့် နားမှ မဏိကဏ္ဏိကာ ကျသွား၏။ မဏိရတနာများဖြင့် ထိုးကပ်တန်ဆာဆင်ထား၍ လှပသဖြင့် ထို့ကြောင့် “မဏိကဏ္ဏိကာ” ဟု ခေါ်ကြစေ။
