Narrator (tīrtha-māhātmya instruction)
Type: tirtha
Scene: A pilgrim bathes at the tīrtha, then worships three-eyed Śiva with bilva leaves and water; a subtle yajña-fire motif appears to signify Agniṣṭoma equivalence.
Sincere tīrtha-snān and Śiva-pūjā can bestow merits comparable to great Vedic sacrifices, making dharma accessible.
“That tīrtha” within Revā Khaṇḍa (a Narmadā-region ford described in the chapter), praised for sacrifice-equivalent merit.
Snāna (ritual bath) at the tīrtha followed by devoted pūjā of Tryakṣa (Śiva).
