श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । चित्रोनाम महातेजा इन्द्रस्य दयितः पुरा । तस्य पुत्रो नृपश्रेष्ठ पत्त्रेश्वर इति श्रुतः
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | citronāma mahātejā indrasya dayitaḥ purā | tasya putro nṛpaśreṣṭha pattreśvara iti śrutaḥ
သီရိမာရကဏ္ဍေယက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– ရှေးကာလ၌ ‘စိတ္တရ’ ဟူသော မဟာတေဇရှိသူတစ်ဦးရှိ၍ အိန္ဒြာ၏ အလွန်ချစ်မြတ်နိုးသူဖြစ်သည်။ အို မင်းမြတ်၊ သူ၏သားသည် ‘ပတ္တရေးရှ္ဝရ’ ဟူသောနာမဖြင့် ကျော်ကြားသည်။
