धौतपापं तु तत्तेन नाम्ना लोकेषु विश्रुतम् । तत्र स्थितो महादेवस्तुष्ट्यर्थं भृगुसत्तमे
dhautapāpaṃ tu tattena nāmnā lokeṣu viśrutam | tatra sthito mahādevastuṣṭyarthaṃ bhṛgusattame
ထိုကြောင့်ပင် ၎င်းသည် လောကများတွင် “ဓောတပာပ” ဟူသော အမည်ဖြင့် ထင်ရှားသည်—အဓိပ္ပါယ်မှာ “အပြစ်ကို ဆေးကြောပြီးသော” ဟူ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၌ မဟာဒေဝ (ရှီဝ) သည် ဘೃဂုအထူးမြတ်သူ၏ စိတ်ကျေနပ်မှုနှင့် ကရုဏာအတွက် တည်ရှိတော်မူ၏။
