Dharma is fulfilled through rightful giving (dāna) performed with truth, sanctity, and proper rites—kanyādāna as a solemn moral responsibility.
After the formal gifting of Sītā is ritually completed with sanctified water, Janaka, moved by joy, continues speaking in the ceremony.
Janaka’s heartfelt sincerity—his emotional fullness reflects the gravity and purity with which he performs his dharmic duty as father and king.
