FAQs

Respect for the righteous (sages) and proper honor to peers (kings) is presented as a hallmark of rājadharma—true sovereignty is validated by reverence and ethical conduct.

In the aftermath of the marriage arrangements, Daśaratha (as senior king and guest) acknowledges Mithilā’s rulers for their virtue and their honoring of sages and royal guests.

Hospitality and reverence: the Mithilā rulers are characterized as virtuous because they honor ṛṣis and maintain dignified relations with other kings.
