विश्वामित्रस्य तपोविघ्नः, मेनकाप्रसङ्गः, महर्षिपदप्रदानम्
Visvamitra’s Austerity Obstructed; Menaka Episode; Conferment of Maharshi Status
तमुवाच ततो ब्रह्मा न तावत् त्त्वं जितेन्द्रिय:।यतस्व मुनिशार्दूल इत्युक्त्वा त्रिदिवं गत:।।।।
tam uvāca tato brahmā na tāvat tvaṃ jitendriyaḥ | yatasva muniśārdūla ity uktvā tridivaṃ gataḥ ||
ထို့နောက် ဗြဟ္မာသည် သူ့အား မိန့်တော်မူသည်—“သင်သည် အင်ဒြိယများကို မအောင်နိုင်သေး။ မုနိတို့အတွင်း ကျားကဲ့သို့ မြတ်သူရေ၊ ဆက်လက်ကြိုးစားပါ” ဟု မိန့်ပြီးနောက် တြိဒိဝ (ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ) သို့ ပြန်လည်ကြွသွားတော်မူ၏။
Then Brahma said to him, 'You have not conquered the senses yet. O Tiger amongascetics, strive still.' Having said this he went toward heaven.
