अथ ज्येष्ठां सुरास्सर्वे देवतार्थचिकीर्षया। शैलेन्द्रं वरयामासुर्गङ्गां त्रिपथगां नदीम्।।1.35.17।।

Transliteration

atha jyeṣṭhāṃ surāḥ sarve devatārthacikīrṣayā | śailendraṃ varayāmāsur gaṅgāṃ tripathagāṃ nadīm ||

Translation

ထို့နောက် နတ်တော်အပေါင်းတို့သည် သာသနာတော်ဆိုင်ရာ အကြောင်းရင်းတစ်ရပ်ကို ပြီးမြောက်စေလိုသော စိတ်ဖြင့် တောင်တန်းတို့၏ အရှင်ထံသို့ သွားရောက်ကာ အကြီးဆုံးသမီးတော်—လမ်းသုံးပါးကို ဖြတ်သန်းစီးဆင်းသော မြစ် «ဂင်္ဂါ» ကို တောင်းခံကြလေသည်။
