O Rama! Himavan's beloved of beautiful waist, well-known by the name of Manorama is the daughter of Mount Meru. She is the mother to both the daughters.
Dharma here is the ordered understanding of the sacred world: rivers and deities are not random forces but belong to a moral-cosmic structure conveyed through truthful tradition.
Viśvāmitra names Himavān’s two daughters—Gaṅgā as the elder and Umā as the younger—advancing the origin-story Rāma requested.
Viśvāmitra’s fidelity to sacred history (satya in transmission) is emphasized by careful identification of figures.
