Suta (narrating the Narada Purana discourse in the Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"A sudden marvel—instant sin-destruction—followed by a calm, time-spanning naming across yugas."}
It teaches the purifying power of darśana: simply seeing the sacred Śiva-liṅga is said to destroy pāpa immediately, emphasizing grace gained through direct sacred encounter at a tirtha.
It highlights bhakti through darśana—devotional seeing and reverent approach—where the devotee receives spiritual cleansing without complex prerequisites, underscoring the accessibility of devotion.
The verse uses yuga-based nomenclature (Kṛta/Tretā) to frame ritual tradition and divine epithets, aligning practice with Purāṇic calendrical/temporal understanding often applied alongside jyotiṣa (time-awareness for rites).
