कृष्णेति द्व्यक्षरः प्रोक्तः कामादिः स्यात्त्रिवर्णकः । सैव ङेंतो युगार्णः स्यात्कृष्णाय नम इत्यपि ॥ ८९ ॥
kṛṣṇeti dvyakṣaraḥ proktaḥ kāmādiḥ syāttrivarṇakaḥ | saiva ṅeṃto yugārṇaḥ syātkṛṣṇāya nama ityapi || 89 ||
«ကృష్ణ» ဟူသည်ကို အက္ခရာနှစ်လုံးပါသော နာမတော်ဟု ကြေညာထားသည်။ «ကာမ» ဖြင့်အစပြုသော ဘီဇမှာ အသံသုံးခုပါသည်။ ထိုဖော်မြူလာကို ဒါတိဗ် (ṅe-အဆုံး) ဖြင့်အဆုံးသတ်လျှင် စကားနှစ်လုံး မန္တရလည်း ဖြစ်လာပြီး «ကൃഷ്ണာယ နမဟ်» ဟု ဆိုရသည်။
