Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It encodes dik-nirdesha (directional order) for protective placement at gateways—using emblematic guardians and weapons to ritually secure a space and uphold dharma during a rite.
Indirectly: by prescribing orderly, reverent ritual conduct, it supports bhakti as disciplined worship—creating a sanctified environment in which devotion to the deity can be performed without obstacles.
A practical ritual-technical principle: dik (cardinal directions) and krama (sequence). This aligns with procedural knowledge used in kalpa-style ritual practice and installation protocols.
