Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It defines the mantra’s core identifiers—deity (devatā), seed (bīja), power (śakti), and purpose (viniyoga)—showing that disciplined mantra-prayoga oriented to Narasiṃha is intended to secure comprehensive spiritual and worldly attainments under divine protection.
By centering the practice on Vidāraṇa-Nṛsiṃha as devatā, it frames mantra as a focused act of surrender and remembrance (smaraṇa) of Viṣṇu’s protective form, where devotion is expressed through precise, reverent recitation and ritual intent.
It highlights mantra-lakṣaṇa and prayoga—how a mantra is specified by devatā, bīja, śakti, and viniyoga—skills aligned with ritual procedure (kalpa) and correct phonetic/recitational handling (śikṣā) within technical Narada Purana instruction.
