तमागतं बाहुसुतं निशम्य मुनिर्वशिष्ठः शरणागतांस्तान् । त्रातुं च शिष्याभिहितं च कर्तुं विचारयामास तदा क्षणेन ॥ ३८ ॥
tamāgataṃ bāhusutaṃ niśamya munirvaśiṣṭhaḥ śaraṇāgatāṃstān | trātuṃ ca śiṣyābhihitaṃ ca kartuṃ vicārayāmāsa tadā kṣaṇena || 38 ||
ဗာဟု၏သား ရောက်လာသည်ဟု ကြားသိသော် မုနိ ဝသိဋ္ဌသည် မိမိထံ ခိုလှုံလာသူတို့ကို မြင်၍ ခဏချင်းပင်—သူတို့ကို မည်သို့ကာကွယ်မည်နည်း၊ တပည့်တောင်းဆိုသမျှကို မည်သို့ ဆောင်ရွက်မည်နည်းဟု စဉ်းစားတော်မူ하였다။
