Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative

सत्ङ्गः परमो ब्रह्मन्न लभ्येताकृतात्मनाम् । यदि लभ्येत विज्ञेयं पुण्यं जन्मान्तरार्जितम् ॥ ३५ ॥

satṅgaḥ paramo brahmanna labhyetākṛtātmanām | yadi labhyeta vijñeyaṃ puṇyaṃ janmāntarārjitam || 35 ||

အို ဘြာဟ္မဏာ၊ အမြင့်ဆုံးကောင်းကျိုးမှာ စတ္သင်္ဂ (သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းသင်းခြင်း) ဖြစ်သော်လည်း မိမိအတွင်းစိတ်ကို မထိန်းသိမ်းနိုင်သူတို့အတွက် မရနိုင်။ ရရှိလာပါက ယခင်ဘဝများတွင် စုဆောင်းခဲ့သော ကုသိုလ်၏ အကျိုးဟု သိမှတ်ရမည်။
