Viṣṇor Māhātmya
सनक उवाच । भूयः शृणुष्व विप्रेन्द्र माहात्म्यं परमेष्ठिनः । सर्वपापहरं पुण्यं भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदं नृणाम् 1. ॥ १ ॥
sanaka uvāca | bhūyaḥ śṛṇuṣva viprendra māhātmyaṃ parameṣṭhinaḥ | sarvapāpaharaṃ puṇyaṃ bhuktimuktipradaṃ nṛṇām 1. || 1 ||
သနကက ပြော၏—အို ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့အထဲ အမြတ်ဆုံးသောသူ၊ ပရမေဋ္ဌင်၏ မဟာတ္မကို ထပ်မံနားထောင်လော့။ ၎င်းသည် ပုဏ္ဏတရားဖြစ်၍ အပြစ်အားလုံးကို ဖျက်သိမ်းကာ လူတို့အား ဘောဂနှင့် မောက္ခ နှစ်ပါးလုံးကို ပေးတော်မူ၏။
