Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that true worship begins with ethical purification—renouncing harm in action, thought, and speech—so devotion becomes a fit vessel for realizing the all-pervading Viṣṇu.
Bhakti here is not merely ritual; it is worship grounded in inner and outer restraint (ahiṃsā and purity), aligning the devotee’s entire life—body, mind, and words—toward Viṣṇu.
The verse emphasizes practical dharmic discipline rather than a specific Vedāṅga: controlling vāc (speech) and manas (mind) supports correct conduct during pūjā and mantra-recitation (a prerequisite for effective ritual practice).
