Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa
आसायं प्रातरारभ्य जप्त्वा वै वेदमातरम् । हेम कृष्णलमात्रं तु हृत्वा सांतपनं चरेत् ॥ ४८ ॥
āsāyaṃ prātarārabhya japtvā vai vedamātaram | hema kṛṣṇalamātraṃ tu hṛtvā sāṃtapanaṃ caret || 48 ||
ညနေမှ စ၍ နောက်နေ့မနက်ထိ ဆက်လက်ကာ “ဝေဒမိခင်” ဟုခေါ်သော ဂါယတြီကို နည်းတကျ ဂျပ် (japa) လုပ်ပြီး၊ “ကృష్ణလ” တစ်လုံးအတိုင်းအတာမျှ ရွှေကို ခိုးယူခဲ့လျှင် သံတပန (Sāṃtapana) ဟုခေါ်သော ပရायశ္စိတ္တ ဝရတကို ကျင့်ဆောင်ရမည်။
