Narada (teaching ritual procedure, in the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links inner purification (ācāmana with mantra) to outward worship (offerings to Sūrya), showing that purity of body-speech-mind should precede and empower ritual devotion.
By prescribing simple, reverent offerings—water, flowers, and fragrance—to Sūrya, it models disciplined daily upāsanā where devotion is expressed through consistent, rule-based worship.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is emphasized: mantra-guided ācāmana followed by vidhivat offerings (gandha, puṣpa, and arghya/jalāñjali) to the deity.
