योगस्वरूप-धारणा-समाधि-वर्णनम् (केशिध्वजोपदेशः)
वश्यता परमा तेन जायते निश्चलात्मनाम् । इन्द्रि याणामवश्यैस्तैर्न योगी योगसाधकः ॥ २० ॥
vaśyatā paramā tena jāyate niścalātmanām | indri yāṇāmavaśyaistairna yogī yogasādhakaḥ || 20 ||
ထိုသို့သော စည်းကမ်းကျင့်သုံးမှုကြောင့် စိတ်တည်ငြိမ်သူတို့၌ အမြင့်ဆုံး ကိုယ်တိုင်ထိန်းချုပ်နိုင်မှု ပေါ်ပေါက်လာသည်။ သို့ရာတွင် အင်္ဒြိယများ မထိန်းနိုင်သေးသူသည် ယောဂီမဟုတ်၊ ယောဂကျင့်သူအမှန်လည်း မဟုတ်။

It defines authentic yoga as inner steadiness supported by mastery over the senses; without indriya-nigraha, higher self-control and yogic realization do not arise.
Bhakti becomes stable when the senses are restrained and the mind is steady; otherwise, devotion is repeatedly pulled outward, weakening sustained remembrance and worship.
The verse emphasizes sādhanā-prayoga (practical discipline) rather than a specific Vedanga; it aligns with yogic training principles used alongside Dharma-śāstric and ritual practice—control of speech, mind, and senses to make worship effective.
