भरद्वाज उवाच । यदि प्राणपतिर्वायुर्वायुरेव विचेष्टते । श्वसित्याभाषते चैव ततो जीवो निरर्थकः ॥ १ ॥
bharadvāja uvāca | yadi prāṇapatirvāyurvāyureva viceṣṭate | śvasityābhāṣate caiva tato jīvo nirarthakaḥ || 1 ||
ဘရဒ္ဝာဇက ဆိုသည်—ပရာဏ၏ အရှင်သည် ဝါယု (အသက်လေ) ဖြစ်၍ လှုပ်ရှားမှုအားလုံးကို ဝါယုပင် လုပ်ဆောင်ကာ အသက်ရှူခြင်းနှင့် စကားပြောခြင်းတိုင်အောင် ဖြစ်စေသည်ဆိုလျှင်၊ ဇီဝ (jīva) သည် သီးခြားသဘောတရားအဖြစ် အဓိပ္ပါယ်မဲ့သွားမည်။
