Narada
Vrata: Hasta-Gaurī Vrata (hastagaurīvratam)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It defines the exact sacred timing (tithi–nakṣatra yoga) for the Hasta-Gaurī Vrata, showing that vrata-phala depends on proper dharmic observance aligned with the lunar calendar and nakṣatra.
By stating that the observance is prescribed by Śauri (Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa), the verse frames the vrata as an act of devotion performed in obedience to divine injunction, integrating ritual discipline with bhakti.
Jyotiṣa (Vedic astronomy/astrology): it specifies a ritual rule based on the conjunction of Tṛtīyā tithi with the Hasta nakṣatra, a classic calendrical criterion used to fix vrata dates.
