Adhyaya 49 — Primordial Human Creation, the Rise of Desire, and the Origins of Settlements, Measures, and Agriculture
वर्तयन्ति स्म तेभ्यस् तास् त्रेतायुगमुखे तदा ।
ततः कालेन वै रागस् तासाम् आकस्मिकोऽभवत् ॥
vartayanti sma tebhyaḥ tās tretāyuga-mukhe tadā | tataḥ kālena vai rāgas tāsām ākasmiko 'bhavat ||
ထို့ကြောင့် တ్రေတားယုဂ၏ အစတွင် ထို(သစ်ပင်အိမ်)များကို အားကိုး၍ သူတို့နေထိုင်ကြသည်။ ထို့နောက် အချိန်ကြာလာသော် ရုတ်တရက် ကာမရာဂ/ဆန္ဒတဏှာ သူတို့အတွင်း ပေါ်ထွန်းလာသည်။
