Adhyaya 31 — Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure
निष्पादयेनमहाभाग ! पितॄणां प्रीणने रतः । अग्नौ कार्यमनुज्ञातः कुरुष्वेति ततो द्विजैः ॥
niṣpādayen mahābhāga! pitṝṇāṃ prīṇane rataḥ / agnau kāryam anujñātaḥ kuruṣveti tato dvijaiḥ
အို မျိုးမြတ်သူ၊ ပိတೃများ (Pitṛs) ကို ပျော်ရွှင်စေလိုသော စိတ်ဖြင့် အခမ်းအနားကို စည်းကမ်းတကျ ပြီးစီးအောင် ဆောင်ရွက်ရမည်။ ထို့နောက် ခွင့်ပြုချက်ရပြီးလျှင် ဒွိဇ (နှစ်ကြိမ်မွေး) များအား—“မီးထဲတွင် လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အရာကို ဆောင်ရွက်လော့” ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။
