यात्रान्ते तु कर्शनीयमुच्छेदनीयं वा कर्शयित्वोच्छिद्य वार्थः श्रेयानुपसम्प्राप्तुं नानर्थः संशयो वा पराबाधभयात् ॥ कZ_०९.७.५८ ॥

Transliteration

yātrānte tu karśanīyam ucchedanīyaṃ vā karśayitvā ucchedya vā arthaḥ śreyān upasamprāptuṃ, na anarthaḥ saṃśayo vā parābādha-bhayāt.

Translation

စစ်ဆင်ရေးအဆုံးတွင်တော့ လျော့ချရမည့်အရာကို လျော့ချကာ သို့မဟုတ် ဖျက်သိမ်းရမည့်အရာကို ဖျက်သိမ်းကာ အကျိုးကို သေချာရယူထားခြင်းက ပိုကောင်းသည်—ရန်သူ၏ ပြန်လည်ဖိအားပေးမှုကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းကြောင့် အနာတရ သို့မဟုတ် မသေချာမှု မပေါ်ပေါက်စေရန် ဖြစ်သည်။
