The Slaying of Andhaka and the Manifestation of the Eight Mother-Goddesses from Divine Afflictions

य एतच्छृणुयान्नित्यं मातॄणामुद्भवं शुभम् । तस्य ताः सर्वतो रक्षां कुर्वन्त्यनुदिनं नृप ॥ २७.३७ ॥

ya etac chṛṇuyān nityaṁ mātṝṇām udbhavaṁ śubham | tasya tāḥ sarvato rakṣāṁ kurvanty anudinaṁ nṛpa || 27.37 ||

Wahai raja, sesiapa yang sentiasa mendengar kisah yang mulia tentang asal-usul Para Ibu (Mātṛs) ini, maka mereka melindunginya dari segala arah, hari demi hari.
