The Birth of Ahaṅkāra as Guha/Skanda and His Appointment as Divine Commander

एवमेतत् तवाख्यातं पृच्छतः पार्थिवोत्तम । आत्मविद्यामृतं गुह्यमहङ्कारस्य सम्भवः ॥ २५.४७ ॥

evam etat tavākhyātaṃ pṛcchataḥ pārthivottama | ātmavidyāmṛtaṃ guhyam ahaṅkārasya sambhavaḥ || 25.47 ||

Demikianlah, wahai raja yang utama, telah dijelaskan kepadamu sebagaimana engkau bertanya: ‘amerta’ rahsia ilmu mengenal Diri—iaitu timbulnya ahaṅkāra (keakuan).
