Varaha Purana 213.33 — Adhyaya 213, Shloka 33

The Glory of Gokarṇeśvara: Nandin’s Austerities and Śiva’s Boons

तदात्मदर्शनं प्रादात्स मुनेर्वृषभध्वजः ॥ उक्तवांश्च मुनिं शर्वश्चक्षुर्दिव्यं ददामि ते ॥

tad ātma-darśanaṃ prādāt sa muner vṛṣabhadhvajaḥ || uktavāṃś ca muniṃ śarvaś cakṣur divyaṃ dadāmi te ||

Kemudian Vṛṣabhadhvaja (Śiva, yang panjinya bergambar lembu) menganugerahkan kepada sang muni penglihatan akan Diri-Nya sendiri. Dan Śarva berkata kepada muni itu, “Aku kurniakan kepadamu penglihatan ilahi.”
