कथयिष्यामि ते देवि तारयन्ति यथा द्विजाः ॥ भुक्त्वा तु प्रेतभोज्यानि ब्राह्मणो ज्ञानदुर्बलः
kathayiṣyāmi te devi tārayanti yathā dvijāḥ || bhuktvā tu pretabhojyāni brāhmaṇo jñānadurbalaḥ
“Wahai Dewi, akan aku jelaskan kepadamu bagaimana para dvija mendatangkan pelepasan. Namun jika seorang brāhmaṇa—lemah dalam kebijaksanaan—telah memakan makanan yang diperuntukkan bagi preta,”
