न दद्यादन्यगोत्रेभ्यो ये न भुञ्जन्ति तत्र वै ॥ चतुर्णामपि वर्णानां प्रेतकार्येषु सुन्दरी ॥
na dadyād anyagotrebhyo ye na bhuñjanti tatra vai | caturṇām api varṇānāṃ pretakāryeṣu sundarī ||
Wahai Sundarī, jangan diberikan (bahagian yang diperuntukkan) kepada mereka daripada gotra lain yang tidak turut makan di situ; dalam upacara untuk yang telah meninggal, ketetapan ini terpakai bagi keempat-empat varṇa.
