तिलाक्षतकुशान् गृह्य पितृदेवार्थमुद्यतः ॥ दीपहस्तो वनं गत्वा श्रान्तो विश्रान्तिजागरे।
tilākṣatakūśān gṛhya pitṛdevārtham udyataḥ || dīpahasto vanaṁ gatvā śrānto viśrāntijāgare
Dengan membawa bijan, akṣata (butir beras), dan rumput kuśa, serta bersiap melakukan upacara bagi leluhur dan para dewa, sambil memegang pelita ia pergi ke rimba/pepohon; dalam keletihan ia berjaga pada ‘Viśrānti-jāgara’.
