The Sacred Merit of Goniṣkramaṇa
the Tīrtha of the Cows’ Emergence/Release
गवां वै श्रूयते शब्दो मम कर्मसुखावहः ॥ अथात्र ज्येष्ठमासस्य शुक्लपक्षस्य द्वादशी ॥
gavāṃ vai śrūyate śabdo mama karmasukhāvahaḥ || athātra jyeṣṭhamāsasya śuklapakṣasya dvādaśī ||
Sesungguhnya, bunyi lembu kedengaran, membawa kebahagiaan bagi amalan dan upacara yang berkaitan dengan-Ku. Dan di sini, pada hari Dvādaśī (hari ke-12) paruh terang bulan Jyeṣṭha, hal ini amat diperhatikan.
