FAQs

It preserves a textual mode of premodern cartography: directional orientation, distance units, and named landmarks used to define a sacred region.

A northeastern boundary of the kṣetra is described, and a landmark named “Matsara” is mentioned; the excerpt does not provide enough corroboration for modern identification.

Implicitly, it encourages mindful movement through a landscape regarded as culturally significant, treating geography as a carrier of memory and value.
