इति मातुर्वचः श्रुत्वा स वैश्यकुलनन्दनः ॥ उवाच मधुरं वाक्यं जननीं संशितव्रतः ॥
iti mātur vacaḥ śrutvā sa vaiśya-kula-nandanaḥ || uvāca madhuraṃ vākyaṃ jananīṃ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||
Setelah mendengar kata-kata ibunya demikian, dia—kebanggaan keluarga Vaiśya, teguh dalam nazarnya—berkata dengan tutur yang manis kepada ibunya.
