The Genealogy of the Pitṛs and the Determination of Śrāddha Times

अपि धन्यः कुले जायादस्माकं मतिमान् नरः । अकुर्वन् वित्तशाठ्यं यः पिण्डान् यो निर्वपिष्यति ॥ १३.५२ ॥

api dhanyaḥ kule jāyād asmākaṃ matimān naraḥ | akurvan vittaśāṭhyaṃ yaḥ piṇḍān yo nirvapiṣyati || 13.52 ||

Semoga lahir dalam keturunan kami seorang lelaki yang berbahagia dan bijaksana—yang tidak menipu dalam hal harta, dan yang akan mempersembahkan piṇḍa (bebola persembahan makanan untuk leluhur) dengan sewajarnya.
