य एतत्पाठयेद्भक्त्या कार्तिक्यां द्वादशीदिने ॥ तस्य नूनं भवेत्पुत्रो ह्यपुत्रस्यापि धारिणि

ya etat pāṭhayed bhaktyā kārtikyāṃ dvādaśī-dine || tasya nūnaṃ bhavet putro hy aputrasyāpi dhāriṇi

Sesiapa yang melafazkan ini dengan bhakti pada hari Dvādaśī dalam bulan Kārtika—wahai Dhāriṇī, Penopang bumi—baginya pasti lahir seorang putera, walaupun sebelumnya tidak berzuriat.
