व्यास उवाच । भगवन्किं प्रभावोऽसौ योऽयं विष्णुहरिस्त्वया । कीर्तितो मुनिशार्दूल प्रसिद्धिं गतवान्कथम् । एतत्सर्वं समाचक्ष्व विस्तरेण ममाग्रतः
vyāsa uvāca | bhagavankiṃ prabhāvo'sau yo'yaṃ viṣṇuharistvayā | kīrtito muniśārdūla prasiddhiṃ gatavānkatham | etatsarvaṃ samācakṣva vistareṇa mamāgrataḥ
Vyāsa berkata: Wahai yang mulia, apakah keampuhan “Viṣṇu-Hari” yang engkau sebutkan itu, wahai harimau di kalangan para resi? Bagaimanakah Dia mencapai kemasyhuran? Jelaskanlah semuanya ini dengan terperinci di hadapanku.
