अयोध्या सा परा मेध्या पुरी दुष्कृतिदुर्ल्लभा । कस्य सेव्या च नाऽयोध्या यस्यां साक्षाद्धरिः स्वयम्
ayodhyā sā parā medhyā purī duṣkṛtidurllabhā | kasya sevyā ca nā'yodhyā yasyāṃ sākṣāddhariḥ svayam
Ayodhyā itu amat suci dan luhur, sebuah kota yang sukar dicapai oleh mereka yang dibebani perbuatan dosa. Siapakah yang tidak patut berbakti kepada Ayodhyā, tempat Hari (Viṣṇu) sendiri hadir secara nyata?
