Type: temple
Listener: The immediate audience within the narrative; the wider frame addresses a beloved lady (likely Pārvatī)
Scene: A council of sages pronounces a boon: those who worship the Pāṇḍava-hallowed liṅga will be revered even by gods, dānavas, and rākṣasas; the scene suggests three cosmic groups listening from different quarters, acknowledging the decree.
Devotion at a sanctified shrine elevates the devotee’s spiritual dignity, making them ‘pūjya’ (honorable) across realms.
The Pāṇḍava-worshipped liṅga at Prabhāsa Kṣetra (Pāṇḍaveśvara), within the Saṃnihitī sacred complex.
Pūjā (ritual worship) of the Pāṇḍava-associated Śiva-liṅga.
