Tirtha: Yogeśvarī-mahotsava (within Prabhāsa-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed earlier as Deveśi)
Scene: A recitation assembly in a temple courtyard: a paurāṇika reads the Yogeśvarī-mahotsava to attentive listeners; above, auspicious symbols (kalasha, lamps) and a subtle aura indicating ‘aśubha’ dissolving like smoke.
Sacred listening and recitation (śravaṇa–pāṭha) are themselves purifying acts that remove aśubha when connected to a deity’s māhātmya.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra through the narration of Yogeśvarī’s mahotsava.
Pāṭha (recitation/reading) and śravaṇa (hearing) of the Yogeśvarī mahotsava narrative.
